Assiniboia is right in the middle of some awesome opportunities! The Town is the largest of its neighbouring communities and serves as the hub for major services.

We have oil and gas industries moving in rapidly as well as wind power strategies that are ongoing. There is correspondingly in the surrounding area, a major pipeline project that is currently being approved.

The Town of Assiniboia itself is undergoing a reconstruction of sorts, which has us partnering regionally with our neighbouring RM’s to become investment ready. It is an exciting time as we revitalize with new strategic planning and growth initiatives.

We have major upgrading developments that include our industrial park, planning with our public works and aging infrastructure improvements.

The Town of Assiniboia is excited to announce a new Municipal Partnership with the Village of Limerick and R.M.'s 71,72, and 73. their Vision:

"The Assiniboia Alliance will be investment ready which will lead to a balanced,

diversified growth in businesses."

On October 26th, 2011, in the Village of Limerick, that Partnership was solidified as the offical "Signing Ceremony" capped off a year of planning! Please stay tuned for more updates.
