Geared towards family and care partners, this session will offer hope by providing strategies and approaches to caregiving in the middle stages, based on knowledge of dementia and its effect on the person.

Topics discussed will include:

· Strategies for effective person-centred communication

· Guidelines to help with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and mealtime

· Using person-centred care principles to enhance purposeful activities
