Alzheimer Society of SK - Heads Up for Healthier Brains Public Forum
Tuesday March 17th ,2015
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We are excited to host a Heads Up for Healthier Brains Public Forum on Tuesday, March 17th, 2015 across the province via Telehealth. This forum is part of our Heads Up for Healthier Brains program which aims to inform the public about the importance of brain health, lifestyle choices and ways to help lower your risk of developing dementia.
Each year our public forum highlights a specific theme regarding brain health. Presenting Sleep Disorders and Dementia, Dr. Brian Murray, is currently the director of the sleep laboratory at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as well as an associate professor in neurology at the University of Toronto. His major area of interest is in sleep neurology. Dr. Murray will discuss how sleep maintains your brain health and affects dementia.
At 7 p.m. our formal program will begin, so we ask you to arrive well in advance to ensure the program begins on time. While registration is free, donations are greatly appreciated so we can continue to offer our Healthy Brain forum to the public.
To register, visit www.alzheimer.ca/sk or call 1-800-263-3367. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at student1@alzheimer.sk.ca or call the number above and I will be happy to help you.
