Assiniboia & District Arts Council Presents: PEAR

Calgary-based husband and wife duo, Denis & Lynae Dufresne formed PEAR in 2006 after headlining international fiddle sensation Barrage. PEAR crosses modern country with folk sensibilities. The group has won 3 CCMA Awards and was named the 2013 Group of the Year from the Association of Country Music in Alberta. Their hit single "This Ain’t a Love Song" is an inspiring song that recently won the Country category in the International Songwriting Competition, and has aired on CMT Canada. PEAR will be releasing a fresh new album in spring 2014. PEAR is ripe for the picking! now take a bite!
