Terry Fox Community Walk/Run/Ride

Sunday September 17th ,2017
2:00 pm

Register for the walk in the parking lot of the Southland Co-op grocery store 409 Center Street, Assiniboia. Bring your water bottle, children, your pals, your pooch, and walking shoes or wheels that work for you.

The route takes us around the perimeter of Assiniboia, all on pavement. The walk ends back at the Co-op where ice cream Dixie cups donated by the Southland Co-op round off the pleasure of an hour's walk for a great cause.

This annual walk keeps alive Terry's Dream for a cancer-free world. When he ran his Marathon of Hope in 1981 he asked for just $1 from every Canadian for the work of defeating cancer.

The community walk is a fundraiser for the Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research. Donate at the walk or donate online at TERRYFOX.ORG
