The 5th Assiniboia Artist Retreat will be held during the week of July 22 at the Assiniboia Curling Rink. 26 artists from around the province of Saskatchewan will be creating work as the week progresses.  The public is invited to view the pieces and consider a purchase during the afternoon of Thursday, July 25.  Everyone is welcome, free admission.

Wherever you go this summer, keep track of your reading and be eligible to win prizes. Register at the library, beginning June 20th. Join us for a Caterpillar Party at 3:30 to get your summer read on! Pick up your reading log and track your reading all summer. You may choose a small prize for every hour you read, and submit an entry for a prize of your choice with each four hours of reading. Please submit reading logs by August 31. Prize draws will take place in early September.

Encouraging children to read over the summer, this program offers Wednesday morning events with crafts, reading & activities. In addition, we have reading logs available to keep track of child's reading, enabling them to win prizes!
